Several months ago, the video game publisher and developer Bethesda added the Clockwork City DLC to its MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online, giving fans access to new mounts, armor sets, and over ten additional hours of story content. Now, the company has decided to unveil the first major update of 2018 for ESO, which adds the two new dungeons of the Dragon Bones DLC, as well as the contents of Update 17. These are available now on PC and Mac and will release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 27, 2018.
The two new dungeons in The
Elder Scrolls Online‘s Dragon Bones DLC are Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair, with both being available to play on normal and veteran modes. According to the description of the new expansion pack, it will “pit you and your team against new and returning enemies, including plague-ridden ogres, powerful sorcerers and their undead creations, and even the reanimated bones of an ancient dragon.” The Dragon Bones DLC is completely free to ESO Plus members and available for purchase for 1500 crowns from the in-game Crown Store.
When it comes to The Elder Scrolls Online‘s Update 17, it has been released simultaneously alongside the aforementioned Dragon Bones DLC, and is free for everyone. Update 17 includes a new outfit system, two new battlegrounds, a home storage system, and additional gameplay features such as a new level-up experience, and combat improvements such as refinements to Synergies, the removal of area-of-effect caps, changes to block costs, and more.
For those who haven’t played The Elder Scrolls Online in a while, now seems like just the right time to jump back in, as the game’s Dragon Bones DLC and Update 17 bring plenty of fresh content to the title. What’s more is that the game also features Xbox One X upgrades with native 4K resolution and enhanced effects, giving ESO fans who have bought the more powerful Microsoft console a considerable boost over the regular Xbox One.
